ANGENOVO Biolab is located at Adamstuen in the center of Oslo.
We provide reliable and efficient research and development services for academic groups, biotech companies, and startups.

 Core Expertise

Our lab team consists of experienced molecular biologists and biochemists with expertise in:

  • Protein expression and purification – bacterial and mammalian systems, affinity and size-exclusion purification, QC by SDS-PAGE and spectrophotometry

  • PCR and qPCR assays – design, validation, and quantitative analysis of nucleic acid targets

  • DNA/RNA sample processing – extraction, cleanup, DNase/RNase-free handling, quality control (Nanodrop, Qubit)

  • Nanopore sequencing (Oxford Nanopore) – amplicon, plasmid, and small genome sequencing with real-time basecalling

  • Custom method development (R&D) – protocol optimization, feasibility studies, and prototype testing for new assays and diagnostic workflows

Facilities and Capabilities

Our biolab is fully equipped to support a broad range of molecular biology and analytical work:

  • PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, centrifugation, incubators, spectrophotometers

  • Protein purification setups (Ni-NTA, GST, SEC columns)

  • Nanopore sequencing instruments for rapid turnaround

  • Calibrated pipettes and instruments with documented SOPs

  • Dedicated benches for clean DNA/RNA workflows

  • Integration with ANGENOVO’s local bioinformatics workstation for real-time data analysis and pipeline integration

Secure Sample Storage

We provide safe and temperature-controlled storage for biological samples and reagents:

  • −80 °C ultra-low freezer for long-term preservation

  • −20 °C freezer for reagents and intermediate storage

  • 4 °C refrigerated storage for short-term holding and incubation

Each sample can be barcoded and tracked through our internal LIMS system. Temperature monitoring and retrieval on request.

 Quality and Data Privacy

ANGENOVO operates under strict quality and privacy standards:

  • All experiments follow internal SOPs and are logged for traceability

  • Project data are processed and stored locally in Oslo on secure servers (no third-party cloud)

  • Access is restricted to authorized staff

  • Confidentiality agreements (NDAs) available upon request

  • Compliance with Norwegian and EU data-protection regulations (GDPR)

Sample Logistics

  • Drop-off: Adamstuen, Oslo – weekdays during lab hours

  • Shipping: cold-chain options available; MSDS required for certain materials

  • Each received sample is assigned a tracking ID and stored appropriately upon arrival
